What backs the work
Our warranty
Covered
What the warranty covers
The 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty applies to the repairs we perform, and it covers both the parts we install and the labor. If something we repaired fails inside that window, you bring it back and we fix it.
- Parts and labor on the repair we carried out, for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first
- Engine repairs and engine replacements, using known-good used or remanufactured engines
- Camshaft and lifter replacement on GM V8s
- Transmission repair, service and replacement
- AC system repair, brake work, electrical repairs and diagnostics
- Nationwide coverage on engine and transmission replacements, so a failure out of state is still covered
- Free replacement for 24 months on batteries we install
Not covered
What the warranty does not cover
A repair warranty covers the repair. It is not a service contract on the whole vehicle, and any shop that implies otherwise is setting you up for an argument later. Two things are worth saying out loud.
Wear items and maintenance
Parts that are designed to wear out and then get replaced on a schedule are exactly that. Brake pads wearing down, fluids getting old, filters filling up and tires losing tread are maintenance, not a failure of the repair we did. That is true at every shop, including the dealership.
We do not install customer-supplied parts
We do not fit parts a customer brings in. Not sometimes, not as a favor. If we did not source the part, we cannot stand behind it or the labor around it. We source everything we install, and we will tell you what is going on the vehicle before we start.
Ask us about your specific job
Warranty terms depend on the repair, and on what your vehicle needed. Rather than guess from a web page, ask us directly and we will tell you exactly what is and is not covered on your job before you approve the estimate. Call (501) 747-7752 or text (501) 439-8228.
If you sell it
The warranty transfers with the vehicle
Most repair warranties die the moment the title changes hands. Ours does not. If you sell your vehicle inside the coverage window, the remaining warranty on our work goes with it to the new owner.
That is worth real money at sale time. A documented major repair with live coverage still attached is one of the few things that will actually move a private buyer off their number.
Proof it happened
Every repair goes on your CarFax report
A warranty is only useful if you can prove the work was done, and a folder of receipts in your glovebox is not proof to anybody but you. We report every repair we perform to CarFax, so the job is documented on the vehicle history record itself.
That does two jobs at once. It backs up your warranty claim, and it builds a service history that shows up when somebody runs the report on your vehicle at resale.
- Repairs, maintenance and major engine work all reported
- Documented on the vehicle record, not just on our invoice
- Visible to a buyer running a history report later
- Backs up a warranty claim without you hunting for paperwork
Your factory warranty
Using an independent shop does not void it
This is the single most common worry we hear from owners of newer trucks, and it is worth answering directly. A manufacturer cannot void your factory warranty simply because an independent shop serviced or repaired your vehicle, provided the parts used meet manufacturer specification. That protection comes from the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
The parts we install meet or exceed manufacturer specification, and genuine GM parts are available if you would rather have them. We will go over the options with you before we order anything.
Reporting the work to CarFax matters here too. It gives you a dated, third-party record that the repair was carried out by a professional shop, which is exactly what you want if the question ever comes up.

FAQ
Warranty questions
What exactly does the warranty cover?
Our repairs are backed by a 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty covering both parts and labor. If something we repaired fails inside that window, we fix it.
Is engine and transmission work covered differently?
Yes, and better. Engine and transmission replacements include nationwide warranty coverage on top of the standard warranty.
What happens if I sell the vehicle?
The warranty is transferable if you sell your vehicle.
Do batteries have their own coverage?
Yes. Batteries we install come with free replacement for 24 months.
Will you warranty a part I supply myself?
The question does not come up, because we do not install customer-supplied parts at all. If we did not source the part we cannot stand behind it or the labor around it, so we source everything we install.
Does using an independent shop void my factory warranty?
No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects your right to have your vehicle serviced at any qualified repair shop without voiding your factory warranty. As long as the parts used meet manufacturer specifications, which ours do, your factory warranty stays intact.
How do I prove the work was done?
Every repair we perform is reported to CarFax, so the service history is documented on the vehicle record.
