Using this site means accepting these terms
This website is operated by The Shop, GM Repair, 901 N Olive Street, North Little Rock, AR 72114. By browsing it or sending us a message through it, you agree to what is on this page. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the site is for
This site exists to tell you what we do, where we are and how to reach us. You are welcome to read it, print it and share it. What you may not do is fairly obvious:
- Do not use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that damages or overloads it
- Do not attempt to gain access to any part of the site or server that is not public
- Do not scrape, harvest or automate submissions through the contact form
- Do not send us anything abusive, misleading or that is not yours to send
The information on this site is general. Whether a repair is right for your vehicle depends on your vehicle, which is what a diagnosis is for.
Estimates are not binding until they are approved in writing
Nothing on this website is a quote, a price or an offer to perform work at a particular figure. Anything we discuss by phone, by text or through the contact form is a conversation, not a contract.
An estimate becomes binding when it has been given to you in writing and you have approved it in writing. Until that happens, it can change, and if what we find once we are into the job changes the picture, we will come back to you with a revised estimate before going any further.
The order this always runs in
We diagnose the vehicle, we give you a detailed estimate, and you approve it. Then, and only then, does the work start. If you have a question about an estimate, call (501) 747-7752 and ask.
Warranty terms live on the warranty page
The terms covering the repairs we perform, including the 12-month, 12,000-mile parts and labor warranty, the nationwide coverage on engine and transmission replacements and the transfer of coverage when a vehicle is sold, are set out separately.
Intellectual property
The text, photographs, layout, logo and design on this site belong to The Shop, GM Repair or are used with permission. You may not copy, republish or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
Vehicle names and manufacturer marks such as Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac and General Motors belong to their owners. We use them to describe the vehicles we service. We are an independent repair shop and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by General Motors or any dealership.
The website itself comes with no warranty
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide the site itself on an as-is basis. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free or free of anything harmful, and we do not warrant that every detail on it is complete or current at the moment you read it.
This says nothing about the repairs we carry out. Those are covered by our warranty, which is a real one.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Shop, GM Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising out of your use of this website, including lost time, lost profits or loss of data.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here reduces your rights under our repair warranty.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated terms apply.
