Our story

How the shop started

After more than ten years turning wrenches on these vehicles, we kept running into the same thing. Customers were getting pushed into services they did not need. Prices were inflated. The whole experience felt like a game somebody else was playing.

So in 2024 we opened The Shop. The idea was simple: give people a place where they can get real expertise without the attitude or the inflated price tag. GM is our specialty, but we will work on whatever you bring us.

We are not fancy and we are not trying to be. We want to fix cars and trucks the right way, treat people fairly, and go home knowing we did good work. That is it.

FAQ

About the shop

How long have you been doing this?

The Shop opened in 2024. Our technicians each brought more than ten years of dealer-level experience with them.

Who owns the shop?

Adam Sperry owns The Shop. Jonathan Sperry is our lead technician.

What makes you different from a general repair shop?

Focus and equipment. GM is our specialty, so we know Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Cadillac better than a shop that works on everything, and we use factory scan tools and repair manuals rather than guessing.

Are you going to try to sell me things I do not need?

No. If your vehicle does not need a repair, we tell you. We would rather earn your trust for the long haul than make a quick dollar on something unnecessary.
