Call before you come
Call (501) 747-7752 or text (501) 439-8228. Tell us the year, model and what it is doing, in ordinary words. We are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and closed weekends.
Diagnosis and approval
Twenty-seven minutes each way means you want to leave it rather than wait. We diagnose it first. Then you get an estimate, and nothing gets done until you approve it.
Updates by text
Cam and lifter work and transmission work are multi-day jobs. We tell you that before you leave the vehicle, and we send photos by text while it is here.
Is it the recall or is it lifters?
Two different problems on the same 6.2 engine, with two different answers. Call (501) 747-7752 with your year and mileage and we will tell you which conversation you are having.

FAQ
Bryant questions
Why do Bryant owners drive to you?
Usually the first repair after the factory coverage ends. GM is the whole focus here rather than one category, heavy engine and drivetrain work stays in our building, and you talk to the technician doing the job. Bryant is about twenty-seven minutes up I-30.
Is my ticking 6.2 the recall, or is it lifters?
They are two different problems. The 2025 recall on the L87 6.2 covered model years 2021 through 2024 and was a connecting rod bearing issue, not a lifter issue. A ticking noise with misfire codes on the deactivating cylinders points at lifters instead. Call us with your year and mileage and we will tell you which conversation you are having.
Does using an independent shop void my factory warranty?
No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects your right to have your vehicle serviced at any qualified repair shop without voiding the factory warranty, as long as the parts meet manufacturer specifications. Ours do, and every repair is reported to CarFax so the record exists if anyone asks.
Do you charge more because I drove in from out of town?
No. The estimate is based on the work, not on where you started. We are a shop rather than a mobile service, so you bring the vehicle to us at 901 N Olive Street in North Little Rock.
Will you keep me updated while you have my vehicle?
Yes. We call before any work starts, and we call again if what we find changes the plan. You can also text (501) 439-8228 any time you want a status update or a photo of what we are looking at.
