Common Questions

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended so we can plan our day and get you in faster. That said, we do our best to accommodate walk-ins when our schedule allows. Call ahead and we'll let you know what's available.

How long will my service take?

Oil changes typically take 30-45 minutes. Diagnostic work and repairs vary depending on what we find. We'll give you an honest time estimate when you drop off your vehicle—and we'll call you if anything changes.

Do you give estimates before starting work?

Always. We diagnose the issue first, then provide a detailed estimate for your approval before we touch anything. No surprises. If we find additional issues during the repair, we'll call you before proceeding.

Do you work on all GM vehicles?

Yes. We work on all General Motors vehicles: Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac. We also service older GM brands like Pontiac, Saturn, Oldsmobile, and Hummer. If it has a GM badge, we work on it.

Will coming here void my factory warranty?

No. Federal law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act) protects your right to have your vehicle serviced at any qualified repair shop without voiding your warranty. As long as we use parts that meet manufacturer specifications—which we do—your warranty stays intact.

Why should I choose you over the dealership?

You get dealership-level expertise without the dealership price tag or attitude. Our technicians have years of experience at both dealerships and independent shops. We use factory-level diagnostic equipment. The difference? We're honest about what you actually need, we charge fair prices, and we treat you like a person—not a number.

Do you use OEM or aftermarket parts?

We offer both. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) GM parts are available if you prefer them. We also carry quality aftermarket parts that meet or exceed factory specifications—often at a lower cost. We'll discuss your options and help you choose what makes sense for your situation and budget.

What does 'CarFax reported' mean?

Every repair we perform gets documented and reported to CarFax. This creates a complete service history for your vehicle, which is valuable if you ever sell it. It also gives you proof that the work was done by a professional shop.

What's covered under your warranty?

Our repairs are backed by a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty. That means if something we repaired fails within that window, we'll fix it. The warranty covers both parts and labor.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, all major credit cards, and debit cards. Payment is due when you pick up your vehicle. For major repairs, we're happy to discuss the estimate in advance so you can plan accordingly.
